TFA Elevates Michael Ziminsky to Trust Officer
Expanding its leadership team, Tompkins Financial Advisors has promoted Michael Ziminsky to the role of trust officer in its Hudson Valley market. In this new role, he is responsible for the administration of trusts, estates, and clients’ investment management accounts and works closely with clients’ legal, tax, and investment advisors to design, implement, and administer the appropriate trust and estate plans. While primarily connecting with contacts at the Mt. Kisco branch, Ziminsky will also have the opportunity to work with clients in Tompkins’ Western New York, Central New York, and Pennsylvania markets.
“Michael has proven time and time again to be a valuable member of the Tompkins family,” said Bill Winters, managing director, and senior vice president at Tompkins Financial Advisors. “We have watched him grow throughout his career and succeed at various positions and have no doubt that he will excel in assisting clients in the best way possible. We are celebrating this achievement with him.”
Now with more than seven years of experience in the banking industry, Ziminsky began his career with Tompkins in 2015 working in the Mt. Kisco retail branch for four years. Prior to joining Tompkins Financial Advisors in 2019, he spent two years in the Tompkins Professional Development Program rotating throughout the company’s various departments and locations.
Ziminsky has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Scranton. He is an active participant in the Hudson Valley region’s community engagement program, regularly attending Relay for Life, The Walk to End Alzheimer’s, Make-A-Wish, and other community service events throughout the year. Ziminsky is currently a member of both the Hudson Valley and Westchester County Estate Planning Councils. In 2022, he was one of 14 winners of the prestigious Millennial+GenZ Award presented by the Westchester & Fairfield Counties Business Journals.
Ziminsky was born and raised in Mt. Kisco, NY, and currently lives in Bedford Hills, NY.
