Taste of Girl Scouts Experience benefit on April 12 at Windrose in Ossining

Dear Business, Community, Girl Scout, and/or Civic Leader,

Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson Council will host our inaugural “A Taste of the Girl Scout Experience” council fundraiser, Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Windrose on Hudson, in Ossining NY, from 12-3PM. The outstanding work that our Girl Scouts do every day will be showcased.
Join us, and take a journey through Girl Scout led experiences. Our Girl Scouts will empower attendees to learn, lead, and grow, just like they do!
This special event will bring together community members, supporters, leaders, girls, new friends, and donors to honor our vision as Girl Scouts and celebrate the ongoing programming that enriches our members through the eyes of the girls.
For over a century, the Girl Scout experience has equipped girls with confidence, self-resilience, and other essential life skills. By providing girls with entrepreneurial opportunities, leadership development, and more, Girl Scouts helps prepare them to become women leaders in government, science, medicine, business, and beyond.
We invite you to join us in celebrating Girl Scouts, and the girls we serve with a special Sponsorship gift. Donations are tax-deductible (to the extent of the law).
Behind every Girl Scout is a dedicated volunteer who helps them achieve their goals and broaden their horizons. This year, we will be recognizing Alison Bergman, founder of Operation Cookie Drop, for her volunteer service with Girl Scouts and veterans. Now in its 25th Girl Scout Cookie Season, Operation Cookie Drop has delivered over one million packages of Girl Scout Cookies to active and veteran military personnel at home and overseas, sending a bit of sweetness throughout the globe. In addition to this, Alison has been an instrumental part of our Council’s many Service Unit Veterans Day events, deliveries, and services. She is also a Highest Awards advisor, who has helped guide many GSHH girls to Bronze, Silver, and Gold awards. Please join us by 1PM for a short presentation honoring Alison.
Opportunities like Operation Cookie Drop and Highest Awards show the importance of accessible Girl Scouting. Together, we can continue to prepare today’s girls to be the women leaders our world needs. Funds raised will benefit our Friendship Fund, a special resource that ensures everyone who wants to be a Girl Scout has the opportunity—regardless of financial challenges.
We are excited to share the success of The Friendship Fund’s first year and its impact.
There will be small bites, Girl Scout cookies, and beverages throughout the event.
