September 22, 2016- “Still Here” Book Launch
Please join the Holocaust & Human Rights Education Center for a reception launching the new book “Still Here” conceived by photographer, Brian Marcus. Brian’s grandfather, Fred Marcus, was a survivor of Buchenwald. Committed to preserving the legacy of survivors and wanting to add insights from this group to educate and inform future generations, Brian partnered with author June Hersh. Together, they photographed and interviewed over 150 survivors and WWII liberators. Their portraits and quotes speak volumes.
This event will take place at the Holocaust & Human Rights Education Center, 4 West Red Oak Lane, Suite 330, White Plains, NY 10604 at 11 AM.
