September 20, 2016- HHREC/Iona College Distinguished Lecture-Medicine in Auschwitz

Distinguished lecturer, Teresa Wontor-Cichy will discuss “Medicine in Auschwitz.” She is an activist, researcher, and historian at the State Museum of Auschwitz plus an author of several books including imprisoned for their “Faith-Jehovah’s Witnesses in KL Auschwitz.” Before this book was published in 2006, there had been no previous study devoted solely to the Jehovah’s witnesses who had been held at the Auschwitz concentration camp.

 

This lecture will take place at Iona College, Spellman Hall, 715 North Avenue, New Rochelle, NY 10801at 7:30 PM.
