Operation Cookie Drop – Help our active-duty military and veterans through Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson
Started in 2002, Operation Cookie Drop is Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson’s (GSHH) council-wide volunteer-led effort to send donated cookies to our troops overseas, in hospitals, and in veterans’ homes. GSHH comprises 22,000 Girl Scouts with over 11,000 in Westchester County.
This year, 70,000 boxes were donated and delivered to soldiers around the world and around our council!
In 2019 Operation Cookie Drop reached its goal of A Million for the Military, and in 2023, reached 1.5 million donations.
