NY State’s Energy Transition – How it Will Impact Your Life and Your Business
New York State has committed to having a 70% carbon-free utility system by 2030 and a fully carbon-free Utility System by 2040.
This will affect:
- How you cook
- How you heat your home
- What you drive
- … and it will hit you in your wallet.
The initial aftershocks of this new law are already taking effect and will become more apparent over the next few years.
It is essential that all New Yorkers understand the ramifications of this law, both on the energy system and on the environment. Learn more from an important and timely presentation by respected energy expert Richard Ellenbogen. A Pelham resident with a green home and green business, Ellenbogen was the Keynote Speaker at the Business Council of NY State’s Renewable Energy Conference. He heads the Business Council of Westchester’s Energy Task Force.
