November 18, 2017 A Night On The Town – Casino Games, Live Music, Raffle & More!

The New York Reading Foundation is preparing for its first annual fundraising event. This year our event is honoring Archbishop Stepinac High School. Our mission is to enrich lives by developing reading skills through our literacy programs. Our goal is to partner with Archbishop Stepinac High School by providing each student with state-of-the-art technology based reading instruction. We utilize leading methodologies that assess individual needs and provide programs that match students’ literacy profiles. We focus on increasing reading proficiency through systematic assessment, rate, comprehension and vocabulary training, data monitoring, mentoring and coaching. Overall changes in reading proficiency have a positive impact on students’ test performance. We know that literacy has the power to make positive, permanent changes.
