New General Manager at Westchester Hills Golf Club
Westchester Hills Golf Club (WHGC), in White Plains, is pleased to announce that Mr. Lee R. Andrea has joined the staff as the Club’s new General Manager.
After attending Florida Southern College on a baseball scholarship and graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Lee Andrea played professional baseball with the Milwaukee Brewers in the position of outfielder.
However, after a career-ending injury, Lee transitioned to the golf industry. Lee’s hospitality industry career features serving in several critical management roles, including regional food and beverage director and general manager for clubs nationwide. One of the highlights of Lee’s career has been serving as director of operations, overseeing 21 golf and country clubs in the northeast and southeast region, and managing over 1,100 employees. Lee joined the Troon club management team in 2015.
His initial assignment with Troon was serving as general manager at Pinetop Country Club in Arizona, a seasonal private club within the Troon Prive portfolio; and subsequently, serving as general manager/chief operating officer at Deering Bay Yacht & Country Club, a private country club in Coral Gables, FL also within the Troon Prive portfolio. Lee looks forward to meeting members of the Business Council of Westchester.
