June 17, 2017 Shred & Recycle! Pell Wealth Partners Community Event
Have old documents that need shredding? Need to dispose of outdated electronics in an environmentally responsible way?
Stop by on Saturday, June 17th between 9:00 AM -12:00 PM at SUNY Purchase College for Pell Wealth Partners Shredding and E-Waste Recycling event.
As a part of our commitment to security and sustainability, trucks will be onsite to confidentially shred paper documents and recycle of the following items:
- Computers/Laptops
• Computer Peripherals(keyboards, mice, power cords)
• Printers
• Monitors (CRT & Flat Panel)
• Networking hardware(servers, switches, routers)
• DVD/DVR/VCR Players
• Fax Machines/Scanners
• Gaming Consoles & Peripherals(Xbox, Playstation)
• Office phones/phone systems
• Smartphones
• Cameras/Camcorders
• GPS/Navigation Systems
• iPod/MP3 Players & iPads
• Remote Controls
• Audio Speakers
Certificates will be issued for items that are recycled to ensure proper destruction.
This is a community event. All are welcome to take advantage of this opportunity. Please feel free to share this invitation with anyone you know who might benefit from this complimentary service.
Coffee and pastries will be served! The event will take place in the West 2 lot (Near the Performing Arts Center) at SUNY Purchase College located at 735 Anderson Hill Road in Purchase, New York.
Shredding and recycling services will be provided by Per Scholas, a nonprofit organization committed to breaking the cycle of poverty by providing education, technology and economic opportunities to individuals, families, and communities. Per Scholas was named to the S&I100 social impact exchange, a national index of top 100 proven high-impact profits. For more information on Per Scholas and the services they provide, see attached.
