Impact PR & Communications Collects Five Wins at Mercury Awards

FIVE WINS AT PRSA’S 2018 MERCURY AWARDS

Hudson Valley public relations and marketing firm Impact PR & Communications, Ltd. has added more awards to its growing collection. At the recent Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Mercury Awards, hosted by the Greater Connecticut and Westchester/Fairfield Chapters, Impact PR & Communications was honored with five awards for excellence in public relations and communications. The recognized work includes:

• Media Relations: Not-for-Profit Silver Award for Saving Edna St. Vincent Millay’s ‘Steepletop’
• Brochures: Silver Award for Working for Wilderness: A Messaging Campaign & Brochure Development for ADK
• Public Service Announcements Audio PSA: Silver Award for Leap for Autism (Greystone Programs)
• Editorials/Op-Ed Columns: Bronze Award for Pay Attention to the Mental Health of the Children – an Op-Ed by Astor Services for Children & Families
• Media Relations: For-Profit Bronze Award for Hudson Valley Restaurant Week & Support the Craft Launch

The award ceremony, hosted by FOX61 Meteorologist Matt Scott, took place at the New Britain Museum of Art. Mercury Awards winners were selected by a team of 12 judges from PRSA’s Central California Chapter, who evaluated each entry on a numerical scale, and awarded the honors – Gold, Silver, Bronze, Honorable Mention and top prize, Best in Show – according to rank.
