Impact PR CEO to Host HVNN “Business Newsmakers” Online TV Show
Bucking the trend of shrinking business news outlets, Filomena Fanelli, CEO and founder of Impact PR & Communications, Ltd., an award-winning Hudson Valley public relations and marketing firm, has been brought on to serve as host of a soon-to-be relaunched video business news segment on HVNN (Hudson Valley News Network), a growing hyperlocal media organization. Fanelli will curate interviews with Hudson Valley business leaders and changemakers on “Business Newsmakers,” a weekly show sponsored by Tompkins Mahopac Bank, with new episodes aired on HVNN.com on Tuesday mornings, beginning March 6. Guests from Dutchess, Ulster, Orange, Putnam, Sullivan, Westchester and Rockland counties will be featured.
“Filomena and I share a profound interest in the fascinating people who make the Hudson Valley a wonderful place to conceive, launch and grow businesses,” said Charlie Cornacchio, founder and CEO at HVNN. “Her exceptional background and desire to get to the heart of the story are aligned with our ‘always local, always free’ way of sharing news. Viewers will enjoy the candid business lessons from guests firsthand, as well as a better understanding of familiar names and businesses. The format is fresh and engaging and born out of an increasing demand for local business news.”
Initial guests on HVNN’s “Business Newsmakers” include Chuck Benfer, market president, iHeart Media of the Hudson Valley and Tri-State; Joseph Bonura, Jr., managing partner at Bonura Hospitality Group; Yuwen Chen, owner of several Dunkin’ Donuts shops in Dutchess County; Jeffrey Feldman, founding partner, Feldman, Kleidman, Coffey, Sappe & Regenbaum, LLP; Rebecca Lee, president of Bella Luci Salon; Al Morales, CEO of Yorkville Sports Association; and Ryan Parsons, chief solutionist at The Brothers That Just Do Gutters, with a variety of other boldface names in the continuing lineup.
“I love the way these wow-worthy CEOs, top executives and community-minded leaders were willing to open up and share with viewers,” said Fanelli. “There’s no other weekly forum like this in the Hudson Valley where viewers can gain inside knowledge on things like what it’s like to own a franchise locally, the challenges of operating a family business, doing a career 360, paying it forward and learning from business failures. I’m excited to work with HVNN on the opportunity to ask the questions many others in our community may have.”
