Hope’s Door Spring Gala – May9th at VIP Country Club – New Rochelle
Join us May 9th at the Hope’s Door Spring Gala – celebrating the 5th anniversary of the Hope’s Door Legal Center and it’s 1,000th client served.
The Hope’s Door Legal Center launched in December 2018 with two attorneys, and supported by a Federal grant, to provide free trauma-informed legal services. This unique approach, rooted in empathy and trust, empowers clients to navigate legal challenges with confidence and clarity, and reclaim control of their lives. In five years staff has tripled in size, to include a paralegal, two legal focused advocates and a bilingual attorney. By working hand-in-hand with counselors, they ensure clients receive comprehensive support tailored to their individual needs. Providing greater access to legal protections and remedies critical to the survival and safety of its clients, the Legal Center, has had a profound impact and changed the lives of 1,000 clients!
Join us for cocktails, dancing, purposeful fundraising and appreciation awards given to our esteemed representatives who have gone over and above to advocate for the needs of our clients:
Andrea Stewart-Cousins, NY State Senator
Pete Harckham, NY State Senator
Chris Burdick, NY State Assembly
The Hope’s Door Spring Gala – a spectacular evening of purposeful fundraising to support our mission to end domestic violence and to empower survivors to achieve safety, independence, and healing from the trauma of abuse.
