Dorf Nelson & Zauderer LLP is pleased to announce that Scott M. Terrillion, Esq. has joined the firm as a Partner in the Fractional General Counsel Practice Group and Head of the firm’s Strategic Life Sciences Practice Group.
Mr. Terrillion has spent more than thirty-five years in the healthcare and life sciences industry, serving in executive leadership, legal, and business roles across managed care, private practice, publicly traded biotechnology companies, and a global research-driven pharmaceutical company. Prior to joining the firm, he served as General Counsel, Secretary, and Chief Compliance Officer of Cara Therapeutics, a publicly traded biopharmaceutical company, where he was principal legal advisor to the CEO, executive management team, and Board of Directors. His experience spans corporate governance, capital formation, technology licensing, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, and more.
The Strategic Life Sciences Practice Group provides experienced executive legal and business counsel to emerging and growth-stage life sciences companies through a proactive fractional General Counsel model focused on building, growing, and scaling innovative businesses.
