Dorf & Nelson LLP announces the name of the Firm has changed to Dorf Nelson & Zauderer LLP.
The name change comes as a result of prominent New York trial and appellate attorney Mark C. Zauderer joining the Firm as a Partner in the Firm’s New York City office. Also joining the firm are the Hon. O. Peter Sherwood, Ira B. Matetsky, Jason T. Cohen and Grant A. Shehigian. Partner Jonathan B. Nelson, together with Mr. Zauderer, will lead the Firm’s Commercial Litigation Department. Widely respected in the legal community, Mr. Zauderer has experience in a broad range of commercial litigation matters including business litigation, professional liability, securities litigation and real estate litigation. Throughout his esteemed career, he has represented major corporations, prominent individuals, and a Presidential cabinet secretary in significant business, financial and commercial litigation. Mr. Zauderer frequently serves as an arbitrator and private mediator of significant disputes and is a member of the national roster of commercial arbitrators of the American Arbitration Association and its International Centre for Dispute Resolution. “We are honored to welcome such an esteemed colleague and pioneering member of the bar to our partnership.
