Community Based Services receives Carvel Foundation Grant
In 2014, Community Based Services (CBS) launched Good Reasons®, a gourmet dog treat company. With a workforce made up of people of all abilities, CBS’s Good Reasons® social enterprise is committed to fully integrating people with autism and developmental disabilities into the workplace. CBS is excited to announce our new division – GR Pack. GR Pack will provide a needed service in our community by being a fulfillment partner for companies seeking assistance with packaging goods. GR Pack will strive to offer integrated and meaningful employment for people of all abilities while achieving our goal of creating work opportunities for those with disabilities. CBS recently received a grant from the Thomas and Agnes Carvel Foundation to provide vocational training for workers at Good Reasons® and GR Pack.
