Chazen Announces Asset Acquisition of McKenzie & Morgan Surveying

Chattanooga and surrounding areas by introducing land surveying as an additional service line to Chazen’s Chattanooga office.

McKenzie & Morgan Surveying Co. provides land surveying services to Southern Tennessee. The firm has over 10 years of experience in the profession including services such as boundary, topographic, subdivision design, and elevation certificates. The survey team will be based in Chattanooga under the leadership of Steven J. Alex, PLS, Senior Principal, Vice President of Land Surveying.

As a result of the acquisition, Chazen welcomes the addition of three new surveyors. Joshua Morgan, PLS, as Director of Survey, and Michael Espinoza and Kevin Brown as Survey Crew Chiefs.

Morgan, former President & Owner of McKenzie & Morgan Surveying Co., comes to Chazen with 15 years of experience in the Land Surveying field. He graduated from East Tennessee State University with a B.S. in Surveying & Mapping and resides in Harrison, Tennessee. Additionally, Espinoza and Brown each have 15 years of experience in the field and live in Athens and Red Banks, Tennessee, respectively.
