Charles Thorn, P.E. Joins The Chazen Companies

Poughkeepsie, N.Y. (June 26, 2018) – The Chazen Companies is pleased to announce Charles Thorn, Professional Engineer, has joined the team as the Director of Engineering Services for the White Plains office located at One North Broadway, Suite 803. He has a successful career with 18 years of experience leading public and private projects related to land development, construction and transportation.

Thorn is a native of Texas, and received his Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Stanford University. In addition to New York, he has his Professional Engineer license in California, New Jersey, Maine, Connecticut, Virginia, and North Carolina. Some of his key accomplishments include leading a rebranding project for Target stores, designing and constructing Green Acres Commons Shopping Center, and overseeing a $2 billion federal grants program for Northeast Transit Projects.
