Bruno Campos, Business Litigator Who Advises Fortune 500 Companies, Joins Harris Beach Murtha

Bruno Campos, an experienced business litigator who represents mid-cap to Fortune 500 companies across an array of industries, recently joined Harris Beach Murtha’s Business Litigation Practice Group.

Bruno handles all phases of complex commercial lawsuits, including bad faith litigation and putative class actions that have generated client recoveries in excess of $900 million.

Bruno’s clients have included automotive parts manufacturers, national restaurant chains, nuclear power plant operators, multinational architectural and automotive glass manufacturers, investment management companies, pulp manufacturers, consumer credit reporting agencies, and global manufacturers of components for the aerospace, transportation, energy and industrial markets.

He provides strategic guidance throughout all aspects of litigation, from pre-litigation demands, through discovery/eDiscovery, mediation, settlement and trial.

“Bruno’s extensive experience litigating complex disputes makes him a valuable addition to our team,” said Jennifer L. Morgan, co-leader of the firm’s Business Litigation Practice Group. “Our clients can be confident that his skillful advocacy will advance their interests and minimize exposure to high-stakes liabilities.”

Bruno, based in the firm’s Stamford office, also speaks Portuguese and Spanish, allowing him to help clients from a variety of backgrounds in both business litigation and pro bono work. His pro bono work includes securing asylum for an international political leader who endured persecution by agents of the dictatorship he opposed; securing an order in state court vacating an inmate’s conviction and death sentence based on false and misleading evidence; securing a lifetime of service-connected benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs for a U.S. veteran; and securing guardianship rights for a mother with respect to her severely mentally and physically incapacitated adult child.

Before his career as an attorney, Bruno acted for 15 years, starring in the Golden Globe winning series Nip/Tuck and Brazil’s Oscar-nominated O Quatrilho.
