Book #2 Released!
Now, following Covid, so many people want to start a nonprofit-it’s one of the beautiful things that has come out of such a dark time.
So…I am thrilled to announce my new book, Purpose, Passion and Moxie: How to Lead the Way and Leave a Legacy (A workbook to help you start a nonprofit from scratch to success.)
This book is for you who see something in the world that they want to change for the better and then set out to change it—even if you have no idea how or where to start.
Excerpt:
Before Pajama Program was even a germ of an idea…I knew nothing about the nonprofit world. ZERO.
I had two, maybe three, months of living expenses to my name.
I had a mortgage.
I was single.
I had a lot of stuff.
When I began my metamorphosis…
Was I terrified? Yes.
Did I think I’d humiliate myself? Yes.
Was I afraid to ask for help? Yes.
Did people tell me I was crazy? Yes.
Was it emotional? Yes. I cried a lot…and I still do.
If it is your dream to act on a need you want to fill, I hope the lessons, ideas, suggestions, and mistakes I share here will support you in your own journey.
