Yonkers, NY — Subomi’s Children Corporation proudly announces its annual Black History Youth Day, taking place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, a community-centered celebration dedicated to empowering young people, honoring Black excellence, and inspiring the next generation of leaders.
This year’s event will bring together youth, families, educators, and community partners for a full day of cultural enrichment, live performances, interactive workshops, and historical reflections. Black History Youth Day is designed to help young people connect with the legacy of Black innovators, artists, activists, and trailblazers while encouraging them to envision their own future impact.

Youth-led presentations celebrating influential Black figures in history, science, arts, and social justice
Creative arts and storytelling workshops designed to spark imagination and cultural pride
Live music, dance, and spoken word performances from local youth talent
“Black History Youth Day is more than a celebration—it’s a platform for young people to see themselves reflected in greatness,” said a spokesperson for Subomi’s Children Corporation. “Our mission is to nurture confidence, leadership, and cultural awareness in every child who walks through our doors.”
The event is open to the public, with families, schools, and youth organizations encouraged to attend. Subomi’s Children Corporation invites community members, partners, and supporters to join in uplifting and celebrating the brilliance of today’s youth.
