Big Brothers Big Sisters of Westchester and Putnam Announce Annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake Fundraiser
[Westchester County, NY – March 29, 2024] – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Westchester and Putnam is delighted to announce the return of its annual signature fundraiser, Bowl for Kids’ Sake, scheduled for Tuesday, June 4, 2024. The event will take place from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the iconic Bowlmor Lanes in White Plains, NY.
Bowl for Kids’ Sake stands as a cornerstone of our organization’s fundraising efforts, enabling us to continue our vital mission of matching children facing adversity with caring adult mentors who inspire them to reach their full potential. This event is not only a source of critical financial support but also a celebration of the impact mentorship has on the lives of young people in our community.
We are thrilled to once again have our supporters come together in a peer-to-peer fundraising effort for this very fun event,” said Valerie Brown, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Westchester County. “This event plays a pivotal role in sustaining our efforts to match children facing adversity with caring adult mentors who empower them to achieve their full potential.”
Bowl for Kids’ Sake brings together individuals, families, and corporate partners for an evening of camaraderie, fun, and philanthropy. Participants form teams and collect pledges from their peer networks to support their bowling efforts. The event promises an exciting atmosphere complete with music, food, prizes, and the satisfaction of making a positive difference in the lives of children in Westchester County.
“We invite the entire community to join us on June 4th at Bowlmor Lanes in White Plains for an unforgettable evening in support of our mentoring programs,” added Brown. “Together, we can ignite the potential within every child and create a brighter future for generations to come.”
