April 29, 2017- Annual Science Barge Opening
Join us for the annual opening of the Science Barge, our sustainable urban farm and educational center on the Hudson River. This joyous rite of spring brings together elected officials, civic groups, and 200-300 residents from throughout the region for a full day of family fun. Enjoy live animals from the Greenburgh Nature Center, Museum Theatre Performer Jonathan Ellers, Giant Puppets, and Nepperhan Community Center’s Drum Corp, and more!
The festivities will begin at 12:00 PM and end at 4:00 PM
Ribbon Cutting at 2 PM by Mayor Spano.
This event is FREE and open to all ages!
