Holocaust & Human Rights Education CenterUpcoming Events May 22, 2019 HHREC Third Annual Spring Luncheon
Please join us for the Holocaust & Human Rights Education Center’s Third Annual Spring Luncheon to be held on May 22, 2019, 11:30 AM, Bet Am Shalom Synagogue, 295 Soundview Avenue, White Plains, NY 10606.
We are pleased to announce that we will be introducing Lisa Salko, who will be presenting a talk “13 Drivers’ Licenses.” “13 Drivers’ Licenses” tells the compelling story about students from a small German village discovering drivers’ licenses taken from Jews by Nazis during the Holocaust. An exhibition will be available for viewing showing 13 large vertically displayed banners with enlargements of the drivers’ license photos and photos of the homes people left behind, as well as pictures of their families and their descendants.
This year, we are providing our attendees the option to host a survivor. An attendee may invite a Holocaust survivor to our luncheon with an additional payment of one ticket.
Ticket Guide:
$72 Single Admission
$72 Host a Survivor
$360 Be an Angel: Includes Two Tickets and Priority Seating
