Representatives from Westchester County, The Business Council of Westchester (BCW), Westchester Green Business (WGB) and the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) will meet this week to explore the role of business in achieving New York State’s energy goals.
The event, part of the Westchester Green Business Leaders in Sustainability Speaker Series, will feature keynote speaker, Bradford Tito, NYSERDA Program Manager, Communities and Local Government, who will discuss the role of business in creating more energy sustainability in New York State. He will also share information on NYSERDA programs and initiatives available to local businesses.

The Westchester Green Business program is the region’s only green business certification program and currently has 70 member businesses and organizations of various sizes and a cross section of industries.
The Leaders in Sustainability Speakers Series event will be held December 9th at The Gateway Center on the campus of Westchester Community College in Valhalla. The morning will begin at 8 am and end at 10 am with an interactive Q&A and additional networking opportunities. Breakfast and coffee will also be served.
