Berlin Productions Helps Make White Plains A Little Greener
Berlin Productions, an award-winning marketing and promotion agency, recently teamed up with Mayor Thomas Roach to plant flowers in Renaissance Park. The company donated the flowers to commemorate their recent achievement of receiving Westchester Green Business certification from the Business Council of Westchester’s Green Business Partnership.
“Flowers bring joy with their beauty. Thank you Berlin Productions for contributing to the beautification of our parks and bringing joy to our city,” stated Wayne Bass, Commissioner, City of White Plains Recreation and Parks Department.
Though Berlin Production has provided marketing, creative and digital services to national clients, including Harvest Hill, Konica Minolta, Wyndham Hotels, National CineMedia and the Blue Book Building & Construction Network, their roots are in the local community.
Ten years after starting the business in Yortown Heights, NY, founder Rick Berlin anchored his business in White Plains. Over the last 25 years, the Berlin team witnessed the city’s transformation and is dedicated to making positive contributions to the community. The firm’s offices on Main Street overlook busy Renaissance Park, which is enjoyed by hundreds of people every week day.
“In addition to being a great team-building activity, planting has a positive impact on the environment,” said Rick Berlin, the company’s president and CEO. “There’s a reason my company has been in White Plains for more than 25 years: It’s an amazing city. Volunteering to beautify the downtown area is one way of giving back.”
In addition, Berlin Productions has donated Thanksgiving baskets in partnership with social services non-profit Lifting Up Westchester. Working with several clients, Berlin Productions also donated more than 50 sports balls to children at Lifting Up Westchester’s holiday event last December. Over the past several years, moreover, they supported the local chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society by raising funds during the annual Light the Night walk.
“I extend my heartfelt thanks to the employees of Berlin Productions, who worked through stormy weather to plant flowers in Renaissance Park,” said White Plains Mayor Thomas Roach. “They’ve helped make an already beautiful location even more enjoyable for the people of White Plains.”
