As part of the BCW’s robust advocacy program, Business Council members will visit the state’s Capitol on Tuesday, May 23 to speak with elected officials and learn about issues that impact their businesses.

The annual trip allows members to meet with top statewide elected officials, key staff members in the Governor’s administration, policymakers and members of the Albany press corps. Members are also given an exclusive tour of the state’s Capitol. The trip will depart at 8 a.m. from the BCW offices at 800 Westchester Ave. in Rye Brook and will arrive in the Albany at 10 a.m. Members will meet with Westchester’s Albany delegation and commissioners of key state agencies, as well as receive a presentation on the impact of the $15 minimum wage proposal. Lunch will feature guest speaker Jessie McKinley, the New York Times Albany Bureau Chief. For more information on the trip, contact John Ravitz at 914-948-2110.
