BCW Member PTI Holds Ribbon Cutting for Expanded Headquarters

Packaging Technologies & Inspection held a ribbon cutting ceremony for its newly expanded 15,000 square-foot headquarters and manufacturing facility at 8 Skyline Drive in Hawthorne on June 26. State and Westchester County officials as well as local community supporters including BCW President and CEO Marsha Gordon attended the event.

“PTI has been a longstanding member of New York’s manufacturing community and we are proud to call it home. Our focus on developing best-in-class sensory technologies has delivered numerous patents and contributions to the space of high-risk packaging testing equipment,” said Oliver Stauffer, CEO of PTI. “The roles within PTI demand a highly skilled workforce from STEM fields, and we will be creating new jobs over the next 5 years in addition to our current 40 employee workforce.’’

Stauffer added that the business environment in Westchester has been a great asset in bringing PTI to the forefront, praising the BCW for its assistance.

“The Business Council of Westchester has been instrumental at navigating business resources and identifying valuable partners within the Westchester business community,” said Stauffer. “The members have proven to be high caliber professionals that continue to support PTI in our growth story.”

BCW President and CEO Marsha Gordon, who attended the ribbon cutting, congratulated PTI on its expansion, praising the company for adding high-paying, STEM jobs to the local economy.

“With Westchester’s robust biotech sector, PTI has found the right place to grow its company,” Gordon said. “On behalf of the BCW, we wish them all the best for continued prosperity through innovation.”
