Government Action Council
Monthly meeting to educate and inform members about relevant County, State and Federal Policy Issues as well as hear from elected officials from all levels of government.
Annual Legislative Agenda
Each year the BCW creates a Legislative Agenda which addresses critical issues facing Westchester County. All members of the Government Action Council are encouraged to offer suggestions which help shape the Legislative Agenda’s key priorities that are important to our members’ specific industry. The Legislative Agenda is sent each year to every elected official in Westchester County.
Annual Albany Lobby Day
The BCW’s Lobby Day in Albany allows our members to meet with top statewide elected officials, key staff members in the Governor’s Administration, Policymakers and members of the Albany press corps. Members are also given an exclusive tour of the State Capitol Building.
Political Leadership Speaker Series
This series allows our members to hear from National and State Political leaders on key economic development, healthcare, education and taxation and finance issues.
