Abbey Inn & Spa Honored As One of Nation’s Top New Hotels

The accolades for the Abbey Inn & Spa in Peekskill keep coming in with the latest being named one of the top national new hotels of 2020 by USA Today. The USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice 2020 ranked The Abbey Inn & Spa #3 on its list, which cited the boutique hotel’s adaptive reuse of a former convent and its full-service spa, farm-to-table restaurant Apropos and luxurious suites. A panel of experts partnered with 10Best editors to pick the initial nominees, and the top 10 winners were determined by popular vote.

Developed by BCW Member Ginsburg Develpoment Companies, The Abbey Inn & Spa is a boutique hotel & spa located within the converted St. Mary’s Convent at a historic Revolutionary War site in Peekskill. The Abbey Inn & Spa’s signature dining concept, Apropos, combines chef-driven cuisine with breathtaking views of the Hudson River. Helmed by Executive Chef John Paidas, this elevated, contemporary-American eatery features Mediterranean-influenced and locally sourced ingredients.
