Yankwitt LLP Names Alicia Tallbe as Partner

White Plains, NY (April 29, 2021) – Yankwitt LLP is proud to announce that Alicia Tallbe has been named partner.

“Alicia has been a tremendous asset to Yankwitt LLP since day one,” shared Russell Yankwitt, managing partner. “She joined with an incredible skill set from her experience as a federal law clerk and with leading New York City law firms and has developed into an outstanding litigator. I trust her to deliver exceptional results for our clients. She is invaluable to the firm and to our clients, and we are proud to elect her a partner of the firm.”

Tallbe is an experienced litigator who represents clients in all areas of commercial and civil litigation, including complex contract disputes, corporate dissolution proceedings and business divorces, shareholder derivative actions, employment disputes, premises liability, insurance coverage matters, and others. She also defends businesses in lawsuits filed under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Prior to joining Yankwitt LLP, Tallbe clerked for two federal judges in the White Plains courthouse: the Hon. Kenneth M. Karas and the Hon. Cathy Seibel. Tallbe also worked for Shearman & Sterling and Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler. Tallbe graduated first in her class from St. John’s University School of Law.

“Alicia’s promotion demonstrates a unique characteristic of which we are especially proud,” added Yankwitt. “At Yankwitt LLP, we have now elected two part-time attorneys to the partnership, a tremendous achievement for a small firm. We are always willing to consider flexible work arrangements for our attorneys. Attorneys who opt for a flexible or part-time schedule are placed on the partnership track and treated on par with full-time attorneys when it comes to partnership consideration. In addition to being the right thing to do, this opportunity is another way we are able to attract top talent to best serve our clients.”
