TMB Debuts Online Financial Education Hub

Tompkins Mahopac Bank (TMB) announces the launch of its interactive financial education hub, featuring ‘Tompkins Talks,’ a monthly series of consumer banking and finance videos by financial experts, plus free educational learning modules. The interactive hub’s free, online videos are each 2-to-7-minutes long and accessible from Tompkins’ website, www.mahopacbank.com/financial-education. The series’ banking and financial experts address topics ranging from banking basics to personal finances, home ownership planning, and loans and payments, including expert insights on such issues as cybersecurity, small changes for smarter savings, teaching children about money, mortgage basics and other subjects. As well, the interactive hub’s financial education learning modules are available for free on the same website and mobile-accessible to accommodate the busy consumer. Each module takes a few minutes to complete and offers valuable lessons on a specific subject, including banking basics, financing, home ownership, loans, paying for college and more. “Having banking and finance information that’s needed and helpful at consumers’ fingertips allows people to get the essential material they need, when they need it to better manage their finances,” said Gerald Klein, CEO of TMB. “Tompkins is proud to meet its community members’ financial needs in whichever ways suit them best, whether it’s in-person, by phone or through the internet.
