Mid-Hudson Regional Economic Development Council Endorses Four Local Projects
The Mid-Hudson Regional Economic Development Council has announced that four Westchester County projects are on the “Proposed Priority Projects” list for Round 8 funding from the Empire State Development Capital Grant Fund:
- Sleepy Hollow Commons, Village of Sleepy Hollow
- Port Chester Waterfront Revitalization Project, Village of Port Chester
- Regent Mt. Vernon Laundry, Regent Hospitality Linen
- Greyston Capital Improvements 2018, Greyston Foundation
Marsha Gordon, President and CEO of the Business Council of Westchester, was appointed by Governor Cuomo to the Regional Economic Development Council and has served for the past seven years on the Executive Committee. She said these projects were endorsed by the Council because they closely align with the “Live, Work, Play” regional strategy.
A final determination will be announced late this fall, as the projects are still subject to further review by Empire State Development.
