Andrus is proud to welcome two exceptional leaders to its Board of Directors: Nicole Survis Engel and Carmen Noyola.
Yonkers, NY – September 29, 2025 – Andrus is proud to announce the appointment of two outstanding professionals to its Board of Directors: Nicole Survis Engel and Carmen Noyola. Each brings unique expertise, vision, and passion that will strengthen Andrus’s mission to empower children, families, and communities through innovative care and compassionate support.
Nicole Survis Engel currently serves as Executive Director of Harlem Grown, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting food justice and nutrition education. Under her leadership, Harlem Grown expanded to 13 urban farms, seven youth programs, and serves more than 18,000 young people annually. She has successfully led large-scale fundraising strategies, expanded community partnerships, and built sustainable models of organizational growth. Nicole’s extensive background in educational leadership, data-driven systems, and nonprofit management makes her an invaluable addition to the Andrus Board.
Carmen Noyola is an Associate Program Officer for the Community Benefit Giving Office at Cedar-Sinai in Los Angeles. Her experience spans project management, public policy, and community outreach, having worked with Linc Housing, Craig Lawson & Co., LLC, the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, and LA County’s Homeless Initiative. Carmen’s expertise in urban planning, housing development, and nonprofit leadership reflects a strong commitment to advancing equity and opportunity, aligning closely with Andrus’s mission.
