2025 Alzheimer’s Research Forum comes to Tarrytown in May

Join the Alzheimer’s Association Hudson Valley Chapter for their Alzheimer’s Research Forum: Latest Developments, taking place on Wednesday, May 7 from 9-11:30 a.m. at the Abigail at Tappan Hill Mansion in Tarrytown. Registration is free to attend. The forum is presently sponsored by NYSARC Trust Services and unwritten by the Hildegarde D Becher Foundation Inc.

Alzheimer’s Research Forum: Latest Developments is an opportunity to learn about the latest in dementia research from a panel of experts. Guest speakers include Dr. Courtney Kloske of the Alzheimer’s Association and Dr. Gary Gibson of Weill Cornell Medicine and Burke Neurological Institute. Attendees will have an opportunity to get questions answered through a Q&A session.
During the forum, we will present Dr. Kendra Ray of NYU Grossman School of Medicine with the Margaret M. Cahn Research Award. This is presented to an outstanding Alzheimer’s researcher in the Hudson Valley area. The award is named after Margaret M. “Peg” Cahn, longtime supporter of the Alzheimer’s Association Hudson Valley Chapter.

David Sobel, Executive Director of the Alzheimer’s Association Hudson Valley Chapter, says: “With more Alzheimer’s treatment becoming available to the public, it is an exciting time. We are here to provide resources to families affected by Alzheimer’s and other related dementias and to show that nobody is alone. Thank you to our panel of speakers for dedicating your time to inform our attendees about the latest in Alzheimer’s research.”

To register for the forum, visit alz.org/hudsonvalley or call the Alzheimer’s Association 24/7 Helpline at 800.272.3900.
