The Business Council of Westchester (BCW) Podcast Network expanded its programming this week with the launch of “Non-Profit Voices of Impact,” a compelling new series dedicated to highlighting the transformative work of non-profits across Westchester County.

“Non-Profit Voices of Impact” explores the mission-driven initiatives, success stories, and innovative strategies that power the non-profit sector. Through engaging interviews and real-life narratives, the podcast serves as both a source of inspiration and a resource for those working to create lasting change. Whether listeners are non-profit professionals, volunteers, or advocates, they will find valuable insights and motivation in each episode.

Hosted by BCW President and CEO Dr. Marsha Gordon and Linda Tyler, the podcast provides an in-depth look at the leaders and changemakers driving meaningful community impact. The inaugural episode featured Jan Fisher, Executive Director of Nonprofit Westchester, who shared her perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing the region’s non-profit sector.

“I was so glad to sit down with Dr. Marsha Gordon for BCW’s first in a series podcast devoted to the non-profit sector. It was both fun and thought-provoking to have such a meaningful conversation,” said Fisher.

“Non-Profit Voices of Impact” is the latest addition to the successful BCW Podcast Network, which launched in early 2024. As Westchester’s media landscape continues to evolve, with the closure or suspension of traditional news platforms like WVOX, the Scarsdale Inquirer, Rivertowns Enterprise, and the Record-Review, the podcast network provides an essential platform for local stories and voices. It also offers businesses and organizations new opportunities to connect with engaged, targeted audiences.

The podcast is sponsored by PCSB Bank, reinforcing the company’s longstanding commitment to supporting the non-profit community in the Lower Hudson Valley.

“PCSB Bank is proud to sponsor the BCW Podcast Network’s ‘Non-Profit Voices of Impact’ podcast series. Non-profits play a vital role in our community by creating thousands of jobs and delivering essential services that make a lasting difference,” said Michael P. Goldrick, President & CEO of PCSB Bank. “‘Non-Profit Voices of Impact’ shines a spotlight on the innovative and dedicated work of these organizations. PCSB Bank has a legacy of working with non-profits in the communities that we serve. We strive to be the most trusted banking partner for non-profits in the Lower Hudson Valley.”

NewYork Presbyterian Westchester is also a sponsor.

With the launch of “Non-Profit Voices of Impact,” the BCW Podcast Network continues its mission to amplify local voices, provide valuable content, and strengthen the Westchester community. Listeners can tune in to new episodes on the BCW website and major podcast streaming platforms.
