Westchester Lower Fairfield Market of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® (LLS) Elects Three Community Leaders

The Westchester-Lower Fairfield Market of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® (LLS) announced today the election of three] new members to its Board of Trustees. The new members of the executive committee join a distinguished group of 20 Trustees, who are committed to advancing the LLS mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

The Market also announced the Board’s new Executive Committee.

The Westchester-Lower Fairfield Market Executive Committee is an active group of professionals who volunteer their time to help LLS at the highest level. In addition to providing strategic guidance, financial oversight, and fundraising support, they along with the Trustees serve as ambassadors to LLS, promote events in the area and help recruit supporters for the organization.

BCW Members include:
Michael Haberman, President, Rock East Funding. Pleasantville, NY
Board of Trustee Vice Chair brings more than 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, having worked at and lead several small and large charitable organizations. He is currently President of Rock East Funding – a private lender for real estate investors. Michael joined the Westchester-Lower Fairfield market Board in 2023, several years after he and his family began participating in Light the Night signature event to raise money in memory of his mother and multiple family members who died of leukemia. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and Journalism from the University of Wisconsin and a master’s in public Affairs from NYU’s Wagner School of Public Service.

Ronnie Ram, President Inspiria Outdoor Advertising, Rye NY
Board of Trustees Leadership Development Chair. An avid leader in the Westchester Community with more than 25 years of professional experience. Ronnie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from State University of New York College at Potsdam with a concentration in speech and interpersonal skills and a Masters in Communications from NYU. Ronnie has been an active member of the Westchester-Lower Fairfield board of Trustees since 2013 and is proud to be part of the Executive committee the LLS.

Yural Marcus, Managing Partner and Co-Chair of the Litigation Practice Group at Leason Ellis, White Plains and new Board of Trustee member interest in combatting Leukemia and Lymphoma began at an early age observing his mother, who is a pediatric hematologist oncologist, treat children with Leukemia. In addition, he has been directly impacted by other cancers since his brother passed away in 2010 from renal cell carcinoma as did another close friend in 2020. As such, he understands the need, and is motivated, to help with efforts to support families impacted by cancer.
