Corporate Audio Visual Continues its Expansion

In 2020, the pandemic changed how businesses and people interact with one another forever. Business meetings, networking, galas and fundraisers, which were once predominantly conducted through in-person events, now shifted to digital and virtual platforms through new technology. This shift not only allowed for businesses to expand their online presence, but provided a small window of time to implement new, strategic change. For Corporate Audio Visual Services, this meant incorporating new skill sets, equipment and services, leaving them well-positioned to meet the needs of their clients in the region.

To address the fast changing needs of live, virtual and hybrid event opportunities, Corporate Audio Visual Services has brought on two new members to the team: Marissa Madonia and Alexa Lilos.

Marissa joined the Corporate AV Team as their Business Development Executive after an extensive career in the nonprofit sector with Feeding Westchester, Westchester Parks Foundation and Gilda’s Club Westchester. With over 10 years of experience in development, event production, a background in musical theater and a wide network of long-term professional relationships, Marissa brings her tenacity, energy, and creativity to all her work – and never loses sight of the big picture.

A true people person and a big fan of “event-ing”– you will always know where to find her, just head on over to the photo-booth. Her leadership skills continue to be recognized, as she was named one of 2018’s BCW’s 40 under 40 Rising Stars. “I love being a voice for those that need it most.” Marissa knows the value of learning from others and so remains her personal mission to inspire others to be bigger than themselves.

Alexa came to Corporate AV as their newest Account Manager for various events. She graduated from the University of Tampa with a BA in Communications and began her career path in the event industry. Alexa has worked as both a Wedding Coordinator and an Event Coordinator, and most recently in the Development Office of a local nonprofit. Alexa is highly attentive to detail and loves interacting with people to make deeper connections. Besides events, Alexa is also a certified yoga instructor and enjoys sharing her passion for movement to help others understand the many benefits of mind, body, and spirit connection.

“Check my list, check it again, & check it a third time just for good luck! I have always been an event planner at heart. I make lists for my lists and organize anything I feel could be presented in much more simple terms. My passion lies with being able to connect and help people accomplish their events just as they pictured it would happen in their head,” says Alexa.

Joe Guilderson, President of Corporate AV says, “We know that to continuously improve and remain competitive, we need to manage growth, and invest in our people. Corporate AV is committed to creating a positive and successful environment dedicated to improving our clients’ success and experience, and that starts with a great team.” Guilderson continues, “The additions of Alexa and Marissa to our team helps us position our company for continued success in 2022.”
