Rising Stars Shine at Million Air

The Business Council of Westchester, the county’s leading business membership organization, inducted its 2019 class of Rising Stars, a diverse and highly talented group representing an impressive array of professions.

The winners were honored Thursday during an evening reception at Million Air at the Westchester County Airport.

The Rising Stars program is modeled after the national business recognition program “40 under 40.” Rising Stars honorees were chosen based on professional and/or entrepreneurial accomplishments, professional and/or business affiliations, and demonstrated leadership skills.

“I’d like to congratulate this year’s class of Rising Stars. These exemplary leaders have distinguished themselves through their talent, determination, leadership and commitment to the Westchester business community. Their initiative, innovation and drive to succeed have gone a long way toward ensuring that Westchester remains the leading business that it is,’’ said Marsha Gordon, President and CEO of the Westchester Business Council.

Eon Nichols, Partner, Cuddy and Feder and Chair of the Rising Stars, introduced Joe McCoy, the regional manager of commercial lending at People’s United Bank, who will be taking over for him has the new Chairman of the Rising Stars Leadership Council.
