Program to Explore How ‘SALT’ is Shaking Up Region

Keynote Speaker: Edmund J. McMahon, Founder and Research Director of the Empire Center for Public Policy

Will the new federal tax reform law rock region’s economy? Join us at the KeyBank Speakers Series on February 14 for an EXCLUSIVE Business Council of Westchester presentation that will examine the impact of the new limits on deductibility of State and Local Taxes, also known as SALT, as well as other changes to the federal tax law. Experts from different sectors impacted by these far reaching tax changes will discuss the implications for business, real estate, non-profit organizations and residents.

Keynote speaker will be Edmund J. McMahon, Founder and Research Director of the Empire Center for Public Policy which focuses on improving New York’s economic competitiveness and promoting greater transparency, accountability and fiscal responsibility in state and local government. Panelists will include Joseph Rand, Chief Creative Officer, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate | Rand Realty, Mark R. Baran, JD, LL.M., Principal, Tax Practice, Marks Paneth and Alana Sweeney, President and CEO of the United Way of Westchester and Putnam. The program will be held at Tappan Hill in Tarrytown from 8 – 9:30 a.m. Admission is $65 for members and $75 for future Members and $600 for a Table of Ten.
