Public-Private Partnership is Best Approach for Airport

The Westchester County Airport is a valuable asset that serves the traveling public, the business community and the general aviation community. It is also an essential underpinning in Westchester’s ability to attract and retain businesses. The Public-Private Partnership proposal for operating the airport under review by the County Board of Legislators would allow the county to tap some $20 million in funds to undertake a modernization while retaining ownership and control of the airport.
