Hot off the Press: Westchester’s Economic Development Guide -The Catalyst
The Business Council of Westchester is pleased to present this year’s Westchester County Economic Development Guide, published in partnership with Westchester County Department of Economic Development and Today Media. The Guide showcases all that is extraordinary about doing business in Westchester and includes highlights of business sectors such as real estate, healthcare, transportation, quantum life science, AI, energy, film production, workforce development, MWBE success stories, culture and quality of life.
The Guide serves to entice businesses to launch, relocate, and expand into Westchester, showcasing the region’s movers and shakers, business and government leaders, and professionals evaluating and choosing Westchester as their place to live and/or work.
This year’s guide highlights Westchester County’s broader economic development landscape and the collaborative efforts driving growth, innovation, and long-term competitiveness across the region. It underscores how business, government, and community partners are working together to strengthen the county’s economy, expand opportunity, and position Westchester as a leader in New York State’s evolving business environment.
A central theme throughout The Catalyst is the county’s focus on innovation and future-ready industries, including efforts to help businesses adapt to emerging technologies, advance sustainability goals, and remain competitive in a rapidly changing global economy. These initiatives reflect a coordinated push to support employers, attract investment, and ensure that Westchester continues to be a hub for growth and innovation.
The guide also emphasizes the importance of clean energy collaboration, workforce development, and strategic advocacy as key drivers of economic strength. Across all of these efforts, the shared goal remains consistent: building a resilient and dynamic business climate that supports both established companies and emerging enterprises.
“As we continue to strengthen Westchester’s economy, partnerships like those with the Business Council of Westchester are essential to our success,” said County Executive Ken Jenkins. “The Catalyst showcases the innovation, talent, and opportunity that define our county, and together we are creating an environment where businesses can grow, invest, and thrive for years to come.”
Marsha Gordon, the President and CEO of the Business Council of Westchester stated that “we are proud to once again partner with Westchester County and Today Media to publish this important Economic Development Guide that once again highlights the momentum we are seeing in recruiting and retaining businesses in all sectors to Westchester County.” You can read the full Economic Development Guide here.
