Extell Opens Latest Phase of Hudson Piers on Yonkers Waterfront

The Yonkers waterfront continues to evolve into a vibrant and growing residential community with the opening this week of Pier III at Hudson Piers, the latest phase of BCW Member and a member of the BCW’s Coalition for Smart Growth Extell Development Company’s large-scale mixed-use project in downtown Yonkers.

The seven-story building includes 176 rental apartments, ranging from studios to three-bedroom units, with initial occupancy expected next month. The Hudson Piers project spans more than 20 acres and is expected to include about 1,400 residences across six buildings, along with retail space and public access along the riverfront.

Pier III features modern apartments with large windows, custom finishes, and views of the Hudson River and Palisades. Some units also offer private terraces and views of the Manhattan skyline.

Amenities at the development include a swimming pool, fitness centers, outdoor terraces with fire pits and hammocks, a dog park, and indoor spaces such as a lounge, screening room, and game room. The community also offers 24-hour concierge service and on-site parking.

The development sits along a 1.5-mile riverfront promenade designed for walking, running, and biking, with access to nearby dining, retail, and cultural attractions.

Located about a 30-minute train ride from Midtown Manhattan, the project is being marketed as a commuter-friendly option that blends city access with suburban living. Monthly rents at Pier III start at approximately $2,300.

Extell is a member of BCW’s Smart Development Coalition.
