Downtown Revitalization Initiative Round 2 Launched
Ten new communities will split $100 million set aside in Governor’s budget as part of the Downtown Revitalization Initiative. Applications are being accepted by the Mid-Hudson Regional Economic Development Council and can be filed on their website at nys-midhudson@esd.ny.gov.
The initiative is designed to promote sustainable economic development, and create places where the next generation of New Yorkers can raise their families, work, and enjoy the diversity of recreational activities all within their downtown. All applications must be received electronically by June 14, 2017 no later than 4 p.m.
A workshop on the application process will be held on June 7 from 1-4:30 p.m. at the Yonkers Riverfront Library in Yonkers.
