Community Housing Innovations Celebrates Grand Opening of New HQ in White Plains

Congratulations to BCW Member Community Housing Innovations (CHI) on the grand opening of their new headquarters at One North Broadway in downtown White Plains. CHI CEO Ron Abad joined with White Plains Mayor Tom Roach and Westchester County Director of Economic Development Bridget Gibbons to celebrate the event on Monday.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have our headquarters in this beautiful office tower overlooking Downtown White Plains. This is a great location for our team, with convenient parking, outstanding restaurants and shops nearby as well as easy access to the White Plain Train Station with a 30-minute commute to Midtown Manhattan,” said Abad. “Downtown White Plains is enjoying a remarkable renaissance, and we’re excited and proud to be a part of it,” he added.
“I, along with the members of the Common Council are pleased that Community Housing Innovations is continuing its journey in the City of White Plains. The City of White Plains is proud of its leadership in the development of affordable housing and grateful for its partnership with CHI. I congratulate and wish the CHI team the best of luck in its new space as they continue to provide critical services for the residents of the City of White Plains and Westchester County,” said White Plains Mayor Tom Roach.
Westchester County Director of Economic Development Bridget Gibbons said: “Safe, affordable housing is fundamental to a strong and resilient local economy. Westchester County is proud to support Community Housing Innovations as they expand their ability to serve our most vulnerable residents. Partners like CHI help ensure that individuals and families have the stability and resources they need to stay housed and build a secure future.”
Other officials joining the ceremony included: Luis Angel Ochoa, representing State Senator Shelley Mayer, Roberto Wlliams, Regional Director for Office of US Senator Charles Schumer and George Asante, Director of the Office of Housing Counsel for Westchester County.
