The BCW Welcomes Business Leaders Aleksandra Chancy and Jeff Nyikos to Board of Directors
The Business Council of Westchester (BCW) has appointed two prominent business leaders to its Board of Directors.
Aleksandra Chancy, PE, is the Founder and President of DACK Consulting Solutions, Inc. and Jeff Nyikos is the CEO and President of Leros Transportation Group. Both executives bring decades of specialized industry leadership and entrepreneurial success to the county’s premier business membership organization.
“We are thrilled to welcome Aleksandra and Jeff to our Board of Directors at such a pivotal moment for Westchester County,” said Marsha Gordon, BCW President and CEO. “Both of these new members will bring immensely valuable skill sets to the Board. Aleksandra’s deep expertise in the built environment will be a tremendous asset as we push forward with our key sustainability initiatives. At the same time, Jeff’s knowledge of ground logistics will help inform the BCW’s transportation advocacy, especially as we see more transit-oriented development reshaping our communities.”
Aleksandra brings more than 30 years of design and construction industry experience to the BCW. Since founding the White Plains-based DACK Consulting Solutions in 1997, she has led major construction management and consulting projects across the Tri-State area, nationally, and internationally. A licensed Professional Engineer with a Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Chancy has spent her career balancing technical precision with community impact.
Her commitment to the future of the industry is evident through her 13-year tenure as an Adjunct Professor in Columbia University’s Construction Administration graduate program. Chancy also serves on the boards of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Westchester and Hudson Valley chapter and the New York League of Conservation Voters (NYLCV)—aligning perfectly with the BCW’s focus on pairing economic vitality with environmental stewardship.
Jeff steps onto the board backed by three decades of hands-on experience at Leros Transportation Group, a global ground transportation powerhouse headquartered in Valhalla. Learning the business from the ground up—just like his father, John—Nyikos has been the driving force behind the company’s massive expansion over the past five years.
Under his leadership, Leros navigated the challenges of the pandemic by executing a bold growth strategy, acquiring competitors Airbrook, All Trans, and Red Oak Transportation. In total, Leros has absorbed eight companies since 2018, more than doubling in size and cementing its reputation as an industry innovator. Nyikos’s real-world insight into shifting commuting patterns will be essential as the BCW advocates for modern infrastructure to support Westchester’s growing transit-oriented housing and commercial hubs.
Please congratulate Aleksandra and Jeff on their appointments as they join our mission to drive economic growth and innovation throughout Westchester.
