Michael Murphy Awarded Ambassador of the Year

Congratulations to Michael Murphy, Director of New Project Development for Murphy Brothers Contracting, who was awarded the BCW’s prestigious Ambassador of the Year Award. The award was presented Tuesday evening at the BCW’s New Year Bash held at the Marriott Westchester in Tarrytown.
Michael is a longtime BCW member and BCW Ambassador for three years. Murphy Brothers Contracting of Mamaroneck is known throughout the Westchester, lower Hudson Valley, southern Fairfield region for award-winning commercial and residential projects. The company was recognized by the BCW as the Small Business Success Hall of Fame award in 2013.
The company is also members of Building & Realty Institute of Westchester, Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Fairfield County, Center for Sustainable Development, and the Mamaroneck Chamber of Commerce. Michael represents Murphy Brothers in all these organizations. He is also a member of The Breakfast Club, Westchester’s Real Estate Professional Network, focusing on residential and commercial real estate development in the region.
The BCW’s Ambassador Program was created 17 years ago and has become one of the BCW’s prized signature programs. Sixteen longtime BCW members volunteer their time, energy and expertise to mentor and guide new members through their first year of membership. Ambassadors attend all of BCW’s events and their responsibilities include welcoming members at every program and event.
