Your Input Needed: Westchester County Clean Energy Survey

In partnership with Westchester County’s Office of Economic Development, Sustainable Westchester launched the Clean Energy Accelerator, beginning with our Careers Working Group, to advance a just market transition, create climate careers, and bolster a green local economy.

Solution providers, this important clean energy market transition project needs your voice! Kindly respond to the Westchester County Clean Energy Workforce Market Gap Analysis Survey by June 20, 2023.

Individual responses will not be published, only aggregate information will be used in the reporting of the survey results.

With this survey we aim to:

  • Identify the skills needed for local clean energy jobs
  • Make recommendations for workforce pipeline and training requirements
  • Educate the local workforce about the training and hiring opportunities already available
  • Create an inventory of existing local, regional, and national training programs to meet identified needed skills
  • Secure new clean energy trainings to meet market needs
  • Promote clean energy trainings to local businesses, workforce, students
  • Train the climate career workforce
