Tompkins Mahopac Bank Expands Team

Tompkins Mahopac Bank (TMB) recently welcomed Bronxville, NY resident Nancy Mundy, to its team as a senior learning and development business partner. In her role, Mundy will assist with the onboarding and training of new employees, while actively supporting current employees with new, company-wide initiatives and technology.

“We are thrilled to have Nancy on our team,” said Laura Geary, vice president, learning and development manager for Tompkins Financial. “Her expertise in the fields of professional training and talent development will undoubtedly open pathways to success for our employees.”

With more than 10 years of experience in the financial industry, Mundy was previously an agency trainer for Farmers Insurance, where she cultivated learning opportunities for employees through interactive presentations, creation and distribution of educational materials and e-learnings. For three years, Mundy served as the volunteer director of the Bronxville Career Network, an organization dedicated to helping those experiencing a career transition, where she helped to mold the group into a valuable community resource. She holds both property and casualty and life and health insurance licenses, earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Hamilton College and Columbia University respectively.
