TMB to Present Financial Fraud and Data Protection Workshop
In an effort to protect Dutchess, Putnam and Westchester County business owners from the perils of fraud – particularly while many remain in a remote or partially remote work environment – Tompkins Mahopac Bank (TMB) will host a virtual workshop on “Financial Fraud and Data Protection for your Business” on Wednesday, February 17 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. While there is no cost to attend the informative talk, registration is required on Tompkins Mahopac Bank’s website by Monday, February 15 in order to access log-in information.
“It was always wise to take steps to prevent fraud before it happens, but the increased points of exposures in today’s mobile and tech-laden world have made it even more imperative,” said Tompkins Mahopac Bank Vice President of Cash Management Steve Alfano, who will host the informative session with Information Security Officer and colleague Leon Brockway. “We hope all Hudson Valley business owners join us to learn strategies and tools to protect their own companies, as well as keep their clients safe from fraud-related risks, including data and identity theft.”
