Robin Zeidel to Moderate Key Panel at the 12th Annual Georgetown Hotel & Lodging Legal Summit

Robin Zeidel, founder and principal of Zeidel & Associates, will moderate a panel at the upcoming 12th Annual Georgetown Hotel & Lodging Legal Summit (HLLS) on September 27, 2024, in Washington, DC. The breakout session, titled Legal Issues Related to Food and Beverage Alternatives in Hotels, Including Labor Issues, will delve into the evolving landscape of food and beverage services in the hospitality industry.

Over the past two decades, hotels and resorts have been innovating to provide more attractive dining experiences for their guests. These have included leases and concession agreements with independent operators, as well as license and consulting agreements with celebrity chefs. A panel of hospitality industry attorneys including, Rimma Kanter, General Counsel of the Soho House & Co, Thomas B. Henry, Partner, Flaherty & O’Hara P.C., and Karen Theissen Moyer, Senior Counsel-Operations, IHG Hotels & Resorts, will discuss these alternatives, the transactions that support them and unique legal challenges they present.

The Georgetown Annual Hotel & Lodging Legal Summit is a premier event where key topics in the lodging industry are addressed by top professionals. This year’s summit will cover a wide range of subjects, including financing hotel developments, labor issues, and strategies for minimizing legal risks. Additionally, participants will gain insights into the latest pending litigation affecting the industry, making this event essential for both industry professionals and law firms.
